LootSpy provides a brief summary of loot rolls using the standard Group Loot settings.
What does it do?
LootSpy watches your chat log for messages relating to loot rolls, and records the information in an easy-to-read popup, providing you with a summary of how many people selected Need, Greed and Pass for each item, including the names of anyone who clicked Need. Originally created so I could watch who needed drops of other armour types that I could use, LootSpy can also be used to watch out for ninja rolls, or just to cut down on chatlog spam when instancing.
How do I use it?
LootSpy comes set up and ready to go; however, I suggest you use '/ls locked' to unlock the pane and move it into a place that fits your UI best before you start instancing. Once panes start appearing, hover the mouse over each to display a list of who has selected Need for that item, or right-click to display the tooltip of the item being rolled for. Each loot pane will fade out 5 seconds after the item has been won; to remove it beforehand, left-click it. Note: LootSpy will only display a maximum of 5 loot panes at once; however, later rolls will be stored, and displayed after the current information is discarded.
Will LootSpy work for other languages?
No, LootSpy works by key phrase identification on incoming chat messages, and thus will only work on the English client. If anyone would like to help localise this addon, please send me a PM.
